Job Requirements

  • Experience with working on Jira, Zendesk and similar tools
  • Extensive experience working with system implementation, reporting, back-end database management (e.g.: Oracle, Teradata) and/or ETL interfacing (e.g.: Informatica, SSIS) technologies
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik

Role Description UNICEF Digital Impact Division DCOE Gender and Technology is seeking a Digital Disability Inclusion Consultant to lead the next phase of Oky's accessibility and inclusion work, supporting further product adaptation, content development, and user acquisition amongst girls with disabilities and their caregivers across Oky's key markets, in partnership with Organizations of People with Disabilities (OPDs). Qualifications - Advanced University degree (Master's degree) in Engineering, ICT, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, International Development, or other relevant discipline. - At least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience and demonstrated track record in disability inclusion and accessibility, with a specialization in digital inclusion and accessibility of technology solutions, products, and platforms. - Demonstrated experience leading or advising on digital accessibility programmes in emerging markets, including familiarity with WCAG standards, assistive technologies, and inclusive design methodologies. - Experience working on digital products, services, or innovation initiatives focused on women and girls, preferably adolescents, in international and emerging market settings. - Demonstrated experience partnering with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), self-advocates, and disability networks across multiple countries. - Experience developing capacity strengthening resources, training, toolkits, and guidance on digital disability inclusion for partners, country teams, donors, or government counterparts. - Track record of representing programmes externally in international forums and high-level engagements, and contributing to global publications, evidence briefs, or principles on digital inclusion. - Fluency in English.
