Your task as a Senior Strategy Consultant is to work closely with students and their other Crimson tutors, mentors and consultants. Primary client-facing responsibilities include the following: - Driving progress through long-term roadmaps. - Offering a perspective into UK higher education. - Mentoring through the candidacy building and application processes. Regarding application work, Senior Strategy Consultants assist in the development of students’ narratives, including the thematic direction of application essays. Students will have additional direct support from Application Mentors who own the responsibilities of essay consultation (brainstorms, revisions) and interview preparation. With each case that one oversees in this role, a Senior Strategy Consultant is entrusted with the highest level of autonomy and accountability. Senior Strategy Consultants are thus held to the highest standards of integrity; maintain utmost responsibility in managing students’ goals and plans; and contribute to the professional development of the self and of the team. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from a UK top university/college preferred; advanced degrees will be advantageous. - At least three years of full-time experience or equivalent, with proven track record of success supporting students into top universities including Oxford and Cambridge. - Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives. - Superior planning and organizational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, product management a plus. - Superior written and oral communication skills. - Resilience when working independently under pressure. - Experience in formal education, coaching, tutoring preferred. Requirements - Provide overarching admissions strategies to students by creating individualized roadmaps and constantly evaluating progress to achieve a student’s primary goals. - Collaborate with the rest of the students’ Crimson team (Account Managers, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, ECL Mentors) to execute on the student’s roadmap. - Maintain expert knowledge of high school curricula, extracurricular and leadership choices, summer program applications, and standardized test planning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies. - Utilize in-depth knowledge of institutions of higher learning to guide students and parents towards attainable school goals, working with them to create lists of best fit schools of varied competition to maximize acceptance chances. - Conduct formal consulting sessions with students on a regular basis, chronicling and sharing with relevant stakeholders notes and action items via the Crimson App platform. - Maintain reasonable levels of communication with students and families outside of formal sessions through various channels (e.g., Crimson App Messenger, email, etc.). - Facilitate or lead development and presentation of marketing materials for seminars or expositions in local markets. - Collaborate with local Sales teams in Initial Consultations to facilitate potential client investment and understanding in Crimson’s products and services. - Produce and acquire buy-in from the Senior Strategy Consulting team on (1) internal resources and (2) client-facing materials to provide the highest standard of quality service worldwide and to engage earnestly in a culture of continuous professional development. The selected consultant is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of the tasks, as follows: - Assess the current university disciplines/modules that address the prevention and response to violence against women and domestic violence, with a particular focus on the legal field, and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations for improvement. - Develop and/or revise curricula/modules/learning units on the prevention and response to violence against women and domestic violence for higher education institutions, ensuring alignment with international standards, national legislation, and best practices in legal education. - Facilitate consultations with different interested key stakeholders, including university representatives, legal specialists, and institutional partners to validate the findings from the Analysis Report, proposed revisions and incorporate feedback into the curricula. - Finalize and present the updated and/or new curricula/modules/learning units and supporting materials in a clear, structured format suitable for institutional adoption. - Deliver a Training of Trainers (TOT) session for up to 30 representatives from 15 universities, designed to build capacity for applying the revised curricula/modules/learning units on prevention and response to violence against women and domestic violence. - Develop a Final Report on the assignment, summarizing lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations for future capacity-building opportunities.
