Role Description We are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a high-impact, immediate-results environment. This is a critical role requiring a fast starter with zero learning curve on core costing principles. You are the bridge between disparate legacy data and our corporate standard. You must possess the technical depth to deconstruct how an acquired entity calculates costs—regardless of their system—and accurately map that data into our ERP and methodology. This role reports to the Corporate Controller. What impact you'll make: - Costing Translation: Analyze and "reverse engineer" varied accounting/costing methodologies from acquired companies; normalize data for corporate integration. - Master Inventory Control: Take immediate ownership of the master inventory listing and maintain data integrity. - Audit Readiness: Drive year-end audit support for inventory and COGS; provide flawless documentation for all accounting entries. - Operational Oversight: Monitor physical inventory counts and cycle counting across multiple sites. - System Integration: Partner with IT to ensure financial data integrity during the migration of legacy systems to the main ERP. Qualifications - 5+ years of "hands-on" cost accounting. You must be an expert in standard vs. actual costing and variance analysis. - We hire for results, not tenure. You must be able to identify gaps and implement solutions within the first 30–60 days. - Advanced Excel and ERP literacy are non-negotiable. You must be comfortable working within "messy" data sets from multiple systems. - This is a high-intensity role. We require a professional who thrives on heavy workloads and takes pride in meeting aggressive deadlines. Benefits - A Growing Industry: Work at the leading tech company in the cannabis industry and help shape the future. - Passionate Culture: Join a team that truly cares about the plant, the people, and the purpose behind what we do. - Employee Perks: Enjoy competitive pay and benefits, paid time off and employee discounts. - Making an Impact: We’re committed to education, sustainability, and giving back to the communities we serve. The salary for this role is $130,000-150,000 annually depending on experience. Competitive PTO, health, dental, vision, life, and 401k insurance benefits offered. Our ideal candidate will be located in the Minnesota market.
