Solar Service Manager

SpartanX

• Oversee daily residential solar service operations and technician workflows • Review active service queues, escalations, and open service projects • Ensure proper scheduling based on urgency, technician skill level, and operational efficiency • Monitor service timelines, operational KPIs, and first-visit resolution performance • Coordinate with installation, permitting, inspection, and operations teams as needed • Assist with escalated homeowner concerns and operational resolutions • Review incoming service requests, monitoring data, photos, notes, and service history • Support technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and operational guidance • Identify recurring service trends and implement corrective operational solutions • Ensure technicians are properly prepared with required tools, equipment, and replacement materials • Reduce unnecessary repeat service visits through proper diagnosis and operational planning • Verify all required service documentation is complete and accurate before ticket closure • Manage technician productivity, documentation quality, and service performance • Review completed service photos, notes, and repair resolutions • Support technician coaching, accountability, and ongoing training initiatives • Conduct quality control reviews and operational audits when necessary • Assist with process improvements and service department scalability

Job Requirements

  • Previous residential solar service management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, troubleshooting workflows, and service operations
  • Leadership experience managing field technicians or operational teams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze service trends and operational deficiencies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with CRMs, scheduling systems, and operational software platforms
  • Ability to lead in fast-paced operational environments
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Preferred Qualifications Electrical license or solar field experience preferred
  • NABCEP certification
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with battery storage systems
  • Experience building service processes and operational accountability systems

Role Description The RN Case Manager - Care Ally works in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families to promote quality outcomes for patients with complex medical needs. The Case Manager is responsible for: - Increasing efficient utilization of health care services. - Identifying chronic or catastrophic cases through the case management process. - Initiating intensive case management according to program guidelines. - Managing patients in all health care settings to assure appropriate level-of-care. - Preventing inpatient re-admissions. - Ensuring that patients' medical, environmental, and psychosocial needs are met over the continuum of care. - Acting as an advocate through coordination and communication with the health care team and family regarding care planning and implementation of recovery goals. - Assessing and coordinating resources available to patients and maximizing the use of health care benefits. Responsibilities - Analyze data collected from predictive modeling tools to identify eligible patients for the Case Management Program. - Enroll and manage a case load of patients with complex medical needs, completing case management attestations and initial assessments in accordance with health plan requirements. - Develop individualized case management plans with prioritized goals and appropriate interventions in compliance with risk stratification level requirements. - Complete all documentation, member communications, and case closures per policies and procedures. - Proficient in knowledge of current Case Management Standards. - Coordinate Health Care Services with appropriate physicians and health care providers. - Manage and provide a comprehensive summary and log of all active Case Management Cases as required by the UM/QA Committee and/or Health Plan. - Act as a resource for Utilization Management Staff, physicians, office staff, and patients. - Assist with the evaluation and amendment of Case Management Policy and Procedures. - Attend continuing education sessions and training relating to job functions as required. - Perform additional duties/tasks as assigned. Qualifications - Must be an active Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois in good standing. - Certification in Case Management, preferred. - Current CPR certification must be maintained (BLS). - Associate’s degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. - 2-4 years of experience working within the primary care or hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. - Previous experience working within case management preferred.
