Technical Project Manager
Cotiviti
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion and understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information • Review deliverables prepared by the team before they are passed to client • Mitigate team conflict and communication problems • Define project scope, critical path, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements • Develop multiple full-scale project plans and associated communication documents identifying needed resources and assigning/ tracking individual responsibilities • Create and maintain project status documents and hold regular status meetings with the project team • Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner, keeping track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members • Effectively define, document, and apply Cotiviti methodology and enforce project standards • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures • Minimize company exposure and risk on project and identify opportunities for improvement • Make constructive suggestions for change
Job Requirements
- BS degree in a STEM related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or technically related discipline
- 5+ years experience in information technology and enterprise level project management
- Certification in project management (PMI, PMP) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, SCRUM and agile software development practices
- Proven experience in management, planning, risk assessment and mitigation, and change control with ability to manage multiple projects and meetings in a face paced environment with internal and external teams
- Experience managing project life cycle from initial proof of concept through approval, development, delivery and implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders outside the team facilitating issue and risk resolution
