Salesforce Technical Architect

Role Description The Salesforce Technical Architect, Integration Specialist for Price & Tendering Applications, is responsible for designing and implementing integrated Salesforce solutions focused on pricing, tendering, and contract management. This role ensures seamless integration between Salesforce, Pricing & Tendering systems, JD Edwards Oracle, Model N, and other third-party applications, optimizing workflows, enhancing data accuracy, and driving business efficiency. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, high-performing integration strategies that align with business goals. This is a remote position based in Mexico, collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones. What you'll do - Solution Architecture & Design - Design scalable and secure Salesforce solutions that integrate Sales Cloud, Model N, JD Edwards Oracle, and other pricing and tendering platforms. - Develop data models, integration patterns, and API specifications to support pricing workflows, tender submissions, and contract approvals. - Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, and industry-specific pricing rules). - Evaluate and implement AppExchange solutions and third-party integrations to enhance pricing and tendering processes. - Integration Strategy & Execution - Architect real-time and batch integrations between Salesforce and pricing systems to ensure accurate and synchronized price books, quotes, and tender submissions. - Implement API-driven and ETL-based integrations using REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Platform Events). - Design workflows for automated pricing approvals, tender submissions, and contract lifecycle management. - Define and apply integration best practices, ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions. - Development & Implementation - Lead the implementation of Salesforce-based pricing automation, integrating with external tendering platforms. - Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to support pricing calculations, quote approvals, and discounting strategies. - Conduct code reviews and performance optimizations to ensure efficient integration with pricing engines. - Troubleshoot integration and data synchronization issues across pricing and tendering systems. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Work closely with pricing teams, sales operations, finance, and IT to align solutions with business objectives. - Partner with Accenture and third-party vendors to implement pricing and tendering integrations. - Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) to define future-state architecture. - Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Stay up to date with Salesforce advancements, pricing automation trends, and contract management innovations. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate deployments. - Identify opportunities to enhance pricing accuracy, streamline tender processes, and improve efficiency through AI-driven pricing recommendations and dynamic discounting models. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 5 years in technical architecture focusing on pricing and tendering solutions. - Strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Model N, and JD Edwards Oracle integrations. - Proficiency in REST, SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and ETL tools for integrating Salesforce with pricing and tendering platforms. - Experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, and other automation tools. - Knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions and pricing optimization methodologies. - Salesforce Architect certifications (Application, System, Integration Architect) are highly preferred. - Understanding of data privacy, security regulations, and compliance requirements related to pricing and contracts.
