Title: Senior Accountant, Hybrid Location: Dallas, TX, United States Job Description: $ 100000 - $ 110000 / Year Accounting & Finance Permanent LHH is partnering with a well-known veterinarian-led network of pet care clinics headquartered in Dallas to find a skilled Senior Accountant. This is as newly created position due to growth. This position will also have clear trajectory to Manager in a short period of time. This position offers a competitive salary of 100K-110K plus a discretionary bonus, a full benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 day remote). This company has a laid back environment and also allows you to bring your dog to work. Primary Responsibilities: - Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. - Maintain, record, and post transactions in the general ledger. - Reconcile trial balance accounts and ensure accuracy. - Prepare detailed financial reports for management. - Work with other departments to strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes. - Assist in tax-related tasks and working with outside contractors. - Accrue expenses and costs across multiple accounts. - Support the preparation of audit schedules and provide assistance during audits. - Enhance ERP systems to align with business needs and improve operational efficiency. - Maintain detailed documentation of all accounting procedures and workflows. - Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
