As a Client Account Manager II, you will be in charge of driving a sophisticated book of business featuring Pinterest’s Mid Market advertisers. You’ll work directly with key advertisers as a trusted consultative product expert to their business. Your strategic advice, analytical skills, and technical sales skills are core to bringing to life the value we deliver as a platform. This is a velocity sales team, we’re looking for candidates who are comfortable working at scale with a diverse client base. What you'll do: - Manage and grow client accounts, collaborating with partners to optimise campaigns, improve performance, implement measurement and attribution solutions, and identify other opportunities for revenue growth. - Translate client goals and leverage data to build consultative and technical solutions for customers, sharing business insights, advertiser education, and satisfaction through a consultative, data-driven approach. - Execute our GTM strategies at scale across a diverse portfolio. - Advise clients on Pinterest ad products, targeting, bidding, creative, and measurement best practices. - Participate in client calls and meetings to understand needs, objectives to effectively promote Pinterest solutions and optimisation opportunities. - Solve challenges and troubleshoot client and partner issues leveraging technical know-how and proper escalations. - Clearly explain complex products and processes, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and agencies. - Build strong partner relationships and proactively expand opportunities to drive revenue growth. - Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to support client marketing objectives and appropriate account management/servicing of client needs. What we're looking for: - 3+ years of experience in customer acquisition and performance marketing, digital marketing, digital media sales, and/or consulting. - Experience analyzing and leveraging large datasets using internal and external analytical platforms and tools. - Demonstrated experience with digital media platforms, advertising metrics, and industry trends (Performance marketing, data, measurement, and technology solutions). - Strong technical and product knowledge of digital ad technologies across Search, Shopping, Display, and Social. - AI Enthusiast: Demonstrates a strong curiosity for and practical application of AI to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and elevate client communications, presentations, and recommendations. Uses AI thoughtfully across account strategy and sales motions to uncover insights, sharpen strategic narratives, and show up as a strong, trusted advisor while maintaining sound judgment and a high bar for quality. - Effective at managing multiple priorities, proactively initiating projects, and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at building lasting partnerships and collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. - Capacity to travel for client meetings. - Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience. In-Office Requirement Statement: - This role will need to be in the office or in-market 3 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Chicago office. - We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style.
