AI and Automation Engineer

UpGuard

• Develop production-grade integration and automation solutions: Design and implement production-ready automation workflows that integrate cloud services, internal data sources, and LLM endpoints. • Lead the development and deployment of domain-specific LLMs: Fine-tune lightweight models on internal data from Gong, Notion, BigQuery, and other sources, then make them accessible to teams across the organisation through intuitive interfaces. • Establish best practices and patterns for AI and automation across the company: Create templates, documentation, and training materials that enable non-technical teams to build and deploy their own automation workflows confidently. • Enable widespread adoption: Run hands-on workshops, provide ongoing support, and mentor teammates so anyone at UpGuard can leverage AI and automation tools effectively. • Embed security & governance: Bake privacy, compliance, and cost controls into every workflow and model deployment, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and data protection.

Job Requirements

  • Python & SQL: delivered production systems that handle real data and users
  • Workflow orchestration: hands-on experience with automation platforms (n8n preferred. Experience with Airflow, Zapier, or other similar platforms is still valid)
  • AI/LLM experience: Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML projects from conception to production
  • Clear communicator: translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and gather business requirements
  • Vector/RAG expertise: experience with embeddings, vector databases, or retrieval patterns
  • Training mindset: created documentation, tutorials, or enabled others to use technical tools
  • Cloud platform experience: deployed and managed systems on GCP, AWS, or Azure

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Clinical Evaluation Specialist to join our Instruments division. In this role, you will apply scientific, regulatory and project management skills to establish the evaluation strategy and compile a body of clinical evidence, in order to reach a legally binding scientific conclusion on the safety and performance of medical devices throughout the product lifecycle.
