Role Description As a Neurohospitalist or Teleneurohospitalist at Intermountain Health, you will work with a high-performing, patient-centered team committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. We can accommodate a combination of telehealth shifts and in-person shifts that best fits the neurologist's needs, including full-time telehealth work. Intermountain has a strong, well-established Teleneuroscience program. - Providing 24/7 Tele-Neurohospitalist services, or in-person neurohospitalist services. - 1.0 FTE is 2,080 hours per year, split up into 12-hour day/night shifts, and swing shifts (approximately 15 shifts/month). - Mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays. - Position provides telehealth (stroke, inpatient neurology consults) support to the Intermountain hospitals and several outreach sites in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Alaska. - Neurohospitalist positions are part of our larger Neuroscience Institute group which includes Neuro Critical Care physicians, Epileptologists, Neurosurgeons, outpatient Neurologists, Neuro and Spine PM&R physicians, Neuro Psychologists, and Psychiatrists. - The neurohospitalist team works closely with the neuro-intensivists team who cover the neurocritical care unit, as well as tele-neurocritical care consults throughout the system.
