Role Description The Sales Representative – In Training is an entry‑level sales role designed to develop future Territory Sales Managers within MITER Brands. This position works closely with an assigned Territory Sales Manager to gain hands‑on experience in the window and door business, distribution sales model, and customer relationship management. The role focuses on structured training, sales support, and field exposure while building foundational skills in account management, product knowledge, and territory execution with a clear path toward revenue ownership and growth. Responsibilities - Sales Training & Support - Shadow the Territory Sales Manager on customer visits, distributor meetings, and job site visits - Assist with preparing quotes, presentations, proposals, and follow‑up communications - Learn company product lines, including features, benefits, and applications of window and door systems - Support execution of sales strategies within the assigned territory - Customer & Distributor Engagement - Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, and contractor partners - Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide product recommendations - Support service levels and account satisfaction for existing customers - Participate in in‑store trainings, lunch‑and‑learns, and product demonstrations - Territory Development - Assist in identifying new business opportunities within the distribution network - Support account penetration strategies and territory growth initiatives - Contribute to account revenue growth through sales support and relationship building - Track sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline updates in the CRM - Operational & Cross‑Functional Support - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and fulfillment - Assist with issue resolution and timely follow‑up on customer needs - Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activity - Training & Development - Structured onboarding and product training - Exposure to distribution and channel sales models - Development of consultative selling and relationship‑based sales skills - Clearly defined progression path to Territory Sales Manager Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - High level of coachability and desire to build a career in sales - Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic - Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory - 1–2 years of sales, customer service, or construction‑related experience - Interest in building materials, construction, or manufacturing industries - Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office - Coachability and continuous‑learning mindset - Relationship‑building and customer focus - Strong organization and attention to detail - Problem‑solving mindset - Professional verbal and written communication skills Benefits - Three comprehensive Medical plan options - Prescription - Dental - Vision - Company Paid Life Insurance - Voluntary Life Insurance - Supplemental Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident Insurance - Company-paid Short-Term Disability - Company-paid Long-Term Disability - Paid time off (PTO) and paid Holidays - 401k retirement plan with company match - Employee Assistance Program - Teladoc - Legal Insurance - Identity Theft Protection - Pet Insurance - Team Member Discount Program - Tuition Reimbursement - Yearly Wellness Clinic

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year institution. - 10+ years of digital media experience. - 7+ years of experience selling to Mid-Atlantic brand direct and agency clients (tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, boutique, mid-size + independent agencies). - Proven performance selling programmatic - both Managed and Self-Service. - Strong relationships with clients, consultants, and agencies in the Mid-Atlantic. - A proven performer that can hit the ground running and make an impact quickly. - Important to have a strong rolodex. - Polished sales, presentation and communication skills. - Exceptional team player, interested in working as part of a highly coordinated, focused organization. - Attention to delivering the highest level of sales and operational customer service. - Self-motivated, detail oriented and results driven personality.
