Title: Senior Consulting Analyst, Financial Close Location: - Dallas, TX - Cleveland, OH - Columbus, OH - Chicago, IL Department: Close and Consolidations Job Description: Location: - Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely. - Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules. - Travel Expectations: Up to 40% What you'll do - Collaborate with project teams to design and implement improvements to financial workflows and reporting structures. - Assist in managing project activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines. - Work towards becoming a subject matter expert in financial close processes and BlackLine implementations. Financial close sub-process areas include but not limited to: account reconciliations, manual and automated journal entries, consolidations, flux analysis, intercompany, and financial/management reporting. - Work closely with client teams to define business requirements and solutionsIdentify areas for process optimization and provide data-driven recommendations. - Lead/participate in client facing workshops and meetings. - Create and deploy digital dashboards to understand client’s processes and provide key insights into opportunities for transformation What You'll Bring: - At least 3 years of experience working with BlackLine or financial close process areas - Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization. - Proficiency in financial systems, including Salesforce and other relevant applications. - Experience supporting transformation projects and collaborating across teams. - Understanding of project management and change management principles. Nice-to-Haves: - 1+ year of professional work experience with Trintech T-Recs. - Familiarity with FinancialForce or other ERP systems. - Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles or similar process improvement methodologies.
