Job Description
Data Conversion Specialist
MATRIX SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGIES
• Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one • Develop and implement data conversion plans • Design and execute data validation and testing processes • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements • Research and evaluate new data conversion technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement • Mentor and train other team members on data conversion best practices • Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and status
Job Requirements
- Ten (10) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in data analysis, mapping, and migration between legacy and modern systems
- Developing and implementing comprehensive data conversion plans
- Designing and executing data validation and testing processes
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout conversion projects
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements
- Prior experience with LADOTD data or other similar state applications (desirable)
- Experience with data conversion tools, ETL platforms, and scripting languages (desirable)
