Senior Solutions Engineer

• Provide end-to-end product demonstration, including complex integrations and use cases. • Work independently to drive opportunities forward with AE/CSMs. • Responsible for all technical discussions and follow ups with prospects. • Build custom demonstrations to highlight specific business solutions for each prospect. • Lead all trials from start to finish, ensuring success criteria is established between sales and prospect.

Job Requirements

  • Business level fluency in both English and German is required (spoken and written)
  • 6+ years’ experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering background in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, SAFe and other product engineering and delivery methodologies required.
  • 3+ years’ experience with sales methodology and pipeline management.
  • Industrial experience in our verticals.
  • Advanced demonstration skills and ability to incorporate discovery into technical solutions
  • Advanced understanding of requirements management concepts and competitive landscape.
  • Understanding of importance of requirements management within ICE industries
  • Ability to position Jama Connect against competitive products from a technical perspective.
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of assigned vertical and relevant regulations. Knowledge of specific technical domain (E.g. MBSE, Systems Engineering, Software Development, etc...)

What You’ll Do: The Solution Safety Consultant resides within the Solutions Delivery Team and plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between safety policy administration and technical implementation. This role partners closely with internal SambaSafety teams and customer stakeholders to guide, consult, and deliver impactful solutions throughout the implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of driver safety program expertise and technical fluency. You’ll be responsible for interpreting and operationalizing customer safety policies, translating regulatory requirements, internal safety standards, and risk mitigation strategies into actionable scoring models and workflows. At the same time, you’ll apply your technical skills to configure, validate, and optimize these models using tools such as SQL, Python, or similar platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of how safety policies are written, enforced, and evolved—paired with the ability to model those policies into scalable, data-driven solutions. You’ll lead discovery sessions, advise on best practices, and ensure that SambaSafety’s technology is aligned with each customer’s safety objectives. Your work will directly influence how organizations manage driver risk, reduce incidents, and protect lives—while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
