Role Description Chronic Care Staffing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our growing Virtual Staffing team. This fully remote opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on patient care while enjoying the flexibility of working from home in a supportive and collaborative environment. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients, helping monitor health progress, coordinate follow-up care, complete prior authorizations and referrals, and support physicians through accurate documentation and patient communication. Responsibilities - Conduct outbound calls to patients regarding health status, follow-up care, and appointment preparation - Build positive relationships with patients while providing empathetic and professional communication - Assist with virtual patient intake and care coordination activities - Complete prior authorizations and referrals daily - Perform phone triage and escalate clinical concerns appropriately to physicians - Support physicians and healthcare teams with accurate documentation and patient updates - Accurately document patient progress, intake information, and follow-up activities within internal systems - Maintain efficiency and organization while managing high-volume communication throughout the day - Follow HIPAA guidelines and company compliance standards at all times - Work collaboratively with physicians and virtual care staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes - Learn and adapt to virtual workflows and documentation systems - Take on additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities as you grow within the organization Qualifications - Active nationally recognized CMA or RMA certification - Previous experience working in a medical clinic environment - Ability to handle high-volume phone communication during an 8-hour shift - Strong communication and patient service skills - Reliable home office setup with: - Windows Pro operating system (Home edition not supported) - Intel i5 processor or newer - Must reside and work full-time within the United States Requirements - Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or specialty practices (Nice to Have) - Previous remote healthcare or virtual care coordination experience (Nice to Have) - Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation systems (Nice to Have) - Strong multitasking and organizational skills (Nice to Have) Benefits - Competitive hourly pay - $60 monthly technology stipend - $500 quarterly bonus - Full benefits package - Company-paid life insurance - 9 paid holidays annually - PTO plan that increases with tenure: - 11 days in Year 1 - 16 days in Year 2 - Fully remote work opportunity - Career advancement and leadership growth opportunities

Compensation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $90,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $115,000/year in our highest geographic market.
