Technology Project Manager

Williams Lea

• Plan and govern complex technology projects to ensure successful execution and delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality • Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining requirements, estimating resources, and creating project schedules • Adopt and adapt appropriate project management methods and tools to provide effective project monitoring and control processes, change control, and risk management • Overall financial management, control and stewardship of the project delivery and resources used in the provision of services • Proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles, and get the best value against constraints • Collaborate with the technical team to understand the technical approach, challenges, and risks • Ensure the team collaborates, communicates, and focuses on what is most important • Coach team members, facilitate continuous improvement of products and processes, and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques • Measure and report project performance to stakeholders and manage the expectations of key project stakeholders • Work with clients to develop project scope and project plans

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management delivering software solutions, preferably for public sector or regulatory clients
  • Experience of leading the delivery of complex software projects using Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project
  • Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Commercial awareness and financial management capability
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Change management experience
  • PRINCE2 and Agile Scrum accredited
