Creative Director, Concept

Mawave

• You are responsible for the creative lead idea for clients, campaigns and always‑on setups, developing narratives, tonalities, claims and conceptual guardrails. • You translate strategic inputs into powerful creative concepts and develop scalable, performance‑driven format and content logics. • You lead high‑level creative pitches, confidently present big ideas to decision‑makers and act as a conceptual sparring partner for clients. • You are responsible for the professional development of the creative team and advancing the overall creative vision of the Mawave team. • You work closely with heads of department on commercial steering and take responsibility for Creative Excellence as a revenue driver.

Job Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of professional experience in the creative, agency or social‑media environment.
  • You bring several years of experience developing Big Ideas and campaign concepts and have very strong skills in storytelling, tone of voice, concepting and creative direction.
  • You already have leadership experience (either functional or disciplinary).
  • Very good understanding of performance‑driven content.
  • You are familiar with the relevant commercial KPIs in everyday agency life and understand their interdependencies.
  • High presentation confidence in German and English.
  • Structured, self‑directed working style with a strong commitment to quality.
