Job Description

Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

SS&C Technologies

• Own the company's financial plan: AOP, quarterly reforecast, long-range plan • Apply AI and automation to scale the function: forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and self-service access to financial data • Serve as the senior FP&A partner to the Executive team and functional leaders • Run budget meetings with department heads; hold the line on commitments and surface risk early • Shape strategic decisions: Headcount allocation, product investment, productivity, capitalization • Build and maintain driver-based revenue and expense models across product lines and geographies • Partner with Accounting on close, revenue recognition, and the accounting-to-business translation • Lead and develop the FP&A team

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of FP&A experience, with 2+ years leading teams at the manager or director level
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools in a finance context: has built or deployed AI-assisted forecasting, anomaly detection, narrative generation, or agent-driven analysis
  • Full P&L ownership in a software or technology business; revenue and expense fluency
  • Proven fluency with Workday, Adaptive Planning, and Tableau
  • Strong executive presence; can hold the room with a CFO or board member
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
