Role Description The Business Analyst reports to the Vice President- Growth Products and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, QA, and design. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into clearly defined requirements and user stories, managing the refinement process in Jira, and ensuring team alignment throughout the development cycle. - Write detailed, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation in Jira and Confluence. - Participate in and lead story refinement sessions with cross-functional teams. - Partner with Product Managers to analyze business problems, propose solutions, and break down features into deliverable stories. - Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure that requirements are testable, complete, and clear. - Help facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Translate feedback from internal stakeholders and clients into clear product enhancements and features. - Maintain a clean and prioritized product backlog to ensure efficient delivery of value. - Identify edge cases, dependencies, and business logic scenarios to mitigate risk and avoid rework. - Continuously refine and improve how requirements are gathered and communicated. Qualifications - 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a tech or software development environment. - Proven experience writing clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical terms. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, and design. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with API-driven platforms or B2B2C products is a plus. - Experience with Confluence, Miro, LucidChart, or similar documentation tools. Requirements - Experience in travel and/or loyalty-as-a-service industries (bonus points). - Knowledge of the WCAG 2.1 AA standard (bonus points). • Migrate Atlassian tools to Salesforce to meet organizational requirements. • Keep Salesforce environment updated with the latest features and plugins. • Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions, ensuring proper access control and security compliance. • Design, develop, document, and maintain workflows, templates, custom fields, screens, and other configurations within Salesforce tools • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams including IT, finance, operations, and senior management to align business needs with technology solutions. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Atlassian applications for reliability and efficiency. • Identify operational, financial, and technological risks and opportunities for improvement. • Provide end-user support and training, including creating documentation and conducting training sessions. • Integrate Atlassian tools with other systems. • Stay current with Atlassian product updates, features, and best practices, recommending improvements and upgrades. • Work with vendors and support teams to resolve technical issues and manage system upgrades and migrations. • Collaborate with teams to identify and understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce workflows. • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership. • Analyze and document business processes end-to-end to identify risks and opportunities for efficiency improvements. • Build a trusting, open, and communicative relationship with clients and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to identify operational challenges and opportunities for AI/ML integration. • Document functional and non-functional requirements for AI/ML solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment with agency objectives. • Conduct gap analysis to determine where automation and predictive analytics can enhance mission workflows. • Work closely with data scientists and architects to translate business requirements into AI/ML models and workflows. • Validate proposed solutions against business objectives and compliance standards. • Assist in defining success metrics and performance indicators for AI/ML initiatives. • Analyze existing mission processes and recommend AI-driven optimizations, such as predictive risk assessments or automated incident classification. • Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of AI/ML tools across operational teams. • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for AI/ML solutions to confirm functionality and usability. • Document findings and coordinate with technical teams for refinement.
