What you'll be responsible for: Circle is seeking a Marketing Director based in UAE, to serve as the primary marketing partner to the Managing Director for the region. This role will support the execution of Circle's end-to-end commercial strategy across MENA, translating regional priorities into clear, effective go-to-market programs that drive growth, adoption, and market expansion across key markets. The ideal candidate is a senior, regionally experienced marketer with a strong understanding of MENA market dynamics and the ability to operate across strategy and execution. This individual will work closely with the Managing Director and leaders across the company to ensure strong GTM execution, consistent market positioning, and effective activation of Circle's priorities in the region. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to adapt global strategies to local market realities in a complex, regulated environment. What you'll work on: - Acting as the primary marketing partner to the Managing Director, Middle East, translating regional commercial priorities into actionable marketing plans. - Driving the planning and coordination of regional go-to-market initiatives that support customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and market expansion across MENA. - Developing and localizing GTM strategies, messaging, and programs in alignment with global marketing frameworks and regional market requirements. - Partnering closely with Business Development, Sales, and Revenue leaders to ensure marketing efforts support end-to-end commercial objectives. - Coordinating cross-functionally with global teams including product marketing, communications, content, creative, marketing operations, and legal to enable cohesive regional execution. - Supporting field marketing team by aligning regional priorities, messaging, and GTM programs with local market execution. - Supporting partner and ecosystem marketing initiatives across MENA, ensuring alignment with regional GTM strategy and commercial objectives. - Supporting regional event strategy and execution, including industry conferences, executive engagements, government and regulatory forums, and Circle-hosted programs, in coordination with field and events teams. - Owning regional marketing planning, calendars, and prioritization, ensuring alignment across campaigns, events, partnerships, and leadership initiatives. - Ensuring regional marketing programs comply with local regulatory, legal, and brand requirements, in close partnership with legal and compliance teams. - Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing performance against regional business and GTM objectives, using insights to inform optimization. - Managing regional marketing budgets, forecasts, and spend, ensuring disciplined allocation and transparency. What you'll bring to Circle: Core Requirements: - 12+ years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated ownership of regional or multi-market marketing initiatives, preferably across MENA. - Proven experience supporting senior regional leaders or general managers and translating commercial strategy into executable go-to-market programs. - Strong understanding of MENA market dynamics, including regulatory, cultural, and commercial differences across key markets. - Experience developing and localizing GTM strategies, messaging, and programs in partnership with global marketing and product teams. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Business Development, Revenue, and cross-functional stakeholders to support pipeline and growth objectives. - Experience working in highly cross-functional, global organizations with distributed teams. - Strong program and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives without direct ownership of all executional teams. - Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, measuring marketing impact, and using insights to inform optimization and prioritization. - Experience managing marketing budgets, forecasts, and spend in partnership with finance teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams around shared objectives. - Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development Preferred Requirements: - Familiarity with crypto, blockchain, or emerging digital asset regulatory environments. - Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving global requirements. - Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite. POSITION OVERVIEW EMILYs List is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Development Officer to lead the organization’s development strategy and to reenergize its fundraising program at every level.
