Senior Sales Manager – Data Centers, Power Stability

• Be accountable for meeting or exceeding an established OP plan • Develop and execute commercial strategy for sales of stability solutions for data centers in North America Market, including BESS (storage solutions), EMS, Medium Voltage UPS, MV Switchgears and Associated Systems • Own the accurate forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your account package and reflect that in Salesforce.com • Manage relationships on day-to-day basis and provide transactional support • Coordinate with selected GE Vernova businesses sales personnel across the region to implement joint account strategies and close synergy orders • Develop and execute an overall growth strategy with integrated plays for GE across the region • Develop strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of the sales team’s strategic direction, including power developers/Data Center Developers/Independent Power Producers and co-locators • Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities • Support your customers in sales activities and provide assistance to them in identifying new opportunities • Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing and delivery • Negotiate contracts as required • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base • Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers • Provide feedback to the leadership team to drive continued growth • Manage expenses within a given budget • Own the accounts in region; responsible for maintaining relationships at all levels of organization; developing and monitoring growth plans; marketing programs; training • Manage, maintain, and grow accounts in region to achieve quarterly and yearly quotas • Ensure GE-provided leads are followed-up and convert to orders • Enforce global compliance standards; collaborate with compliance manager to perform due diligence activities • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales/Commercial Operations/Engineering/Technical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within the Power Developer and Utilities Markets
- Experience with Data Center Markets and Portfolios
- Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license / satisfactory driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel North America 50% of the time

Role Description The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with division’s key customer groups - marine contractors, engineering firms, and municipalities. As the RSM, you will take the lead in driving new business opportunities that support CMI’s overall growth strategy in the aluminum fabrication division. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for sales and a track record of success who can drive opportunities from project inception to completion. The RSM will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales departments to grow market share in assigned territory and generate top line revenue. - Develop pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires thorough knowledge of the marketplace, product offerings, and company capabilities. - Executes tactics to support overall region and company strategic goals by identifying potential sales opportunities. - Develops and maintains business relationships with key customer groups in target markets to ensure deep market penetration and establish CMI Fabrication as manufacturer of choice for bridge and marine access projects (marinas). - Work closely with Marketing Director to support overall Fabrication Marketing campaign. - Works cross functionally with internal resources; Engineering, Operations, and Sales to bring viable solutions for customer’s needs to win business. - Perform other such duties, appropriate to the role, as may be required by the Fabrication General Manager.
