Regional Sales Director

TC IoT Solutions

• Responsible for the execution of sales strategy in the assigned territory • Meet and exceed sales targets • Develop individual account plans and strategies for existing and new accounts • Establish business relationships with all levels of management and functions within direct accounts • Lead sales efforts through targeted customer visits to key decision makers and RFP response development • Identify and address customer objections during the sales process • Monitor and manage your sales pipeline • Ensure account retention by providing a high level of customer and sales support • Work closely with application engineers to coordinate technical support • Identify new sales opportunities for m2mAir services offering • Communicate daily with prospects, customers, and channel partners to maintain a high degree of 'mindshare' within the territory

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • 10+ years of sales experience in M2M, semiconductor, or other related field
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Technically proficient with a successful background in long sales cycle/design-in semiconductor related product sales
  • Must convey strong customer commitment and have a proven history in excelling in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Must be able to work effectively without close supervision and function as a member of a team of professionals
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems and situations and recommend solutions
  • Familiarity with channel programs including design registration, ship and debit, etc.
  • Knowledge of companies across several market verticals including but not limited to transportation, utility, security, point of sale, etc.
  • Travel domestic and internationally 40% of the time.

Role Description The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with division’s key customer groups - marine contractors, engineering firms, and municipalities. As the RSM, you will take the lead in driving new business opportunities that support CMI’s overall growth strategy in the aluminum fabrication division. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for sales and a track record of success who can drive opportunities from project inception to completion. The RSM will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales departments to grow market share in assigned territory and generate top line revenue. - Develop pipeline of new business coming into the company.
