Senior Engineer, Data Ops

Empower

• Design and Implement CI/CD workflows for applications and data pipelines • Build and maintain repeatable, scalable deployment processes across multiple environments • Define and enforce safe deployment practices • Reduce manual deployment steps through automation • Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code • Improve environment consistency and eliminate configuration drift • Design systems that scale reliably in AWS • Ensure secure integration between services • Enhance the deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes for data pipelines • Support event-driven and workflow-based systems • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain data pipelines

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Data Infrastructure
  • 5+ years of experience using Infrastructure as Code in real environments
  • Proven hands-on experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of environment management
  • 3+ years of experience with data transformation workflows or dbt
  • Strong experience working with distributed systems
  • Proficient in programming/scripting language (Python preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
