Lead Consultant, Oracle Cloud Payroll

Alithya

• Provide Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll functional consulting services by acting as a subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire cloud application service implementation lifecycle for Oracle ERP Cloud projects; • Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll projects; • Ability to translate complex payroll logic into clear, business‑friendly explanations for non‑technical stakeholders; • Work with companies on-site or remotely to deploy Oracle HCM Payroll; • Guide clients through Oracle delivered functionality, advise them on best practice, map business processes to delivered functionality, document client requirements, configure application functionality, and assist with testing; • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients; • Ensure cross pillar collaboration with HR, Benefits, Finance and IT teams; • Work with peers to continuously improve the delivery model to provide the most value to clients while increasing project delivery efficiency; • Work with and mentor junior level associates to ensure their professional growth and ability to contribute to company growth.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Current Oracle Payroll certification;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience Leading end‑to‑end Oracle Payroll implementations, including quarterly patch cycles, and regression testing;
  • Experience with at least 1 Redwood payroll implementation, including Visual Builder Studio customization;
  • Minimum 1 full ERP implementation with costing experience;
  • US Payroll experience including supporting Unions/Bargaining Units;
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes: running payroll in test and production environments, validating results, and managing payroll cutover activities;
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner;
  • Self-motivated and able to plan work effort and manage priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to effectively work in a remote model with clients and peers.

We are currently seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Accounting team. This is a remote position. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews Workday reports to ADP interface to ensure successful flow of data and resolve any errors/discrepancies. Make updates to employee information in ADP Vantage (hires, terminations, job changes, leaves, deductions, etc.). Runs reports, prepares final review packages, and ensures accuracy of all payroll transactions. Issues stop payments/direct deposit reversals, as necessary. Initiates wires as needed based on state, local and federal tax regulations. Processes employee garnishments/liens/court orders based on state, local, and Federal withholding laws. Processes various one-time payments (severances, bonuses, commissions, etc.) based on company policies and HR instructions. Runs and distributes biweekly payroll reports to HR/Accounting/Finance departments. Provides Vantage TIME support, running and reviewing audit reports, obtaining timecard approvals, and assisting with timecard edits. Assists with inquiries made to Payroll from internal and external sources. Participates in ad hoc projects and provides back-up support for the department as determined by needs. QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) Must have a minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience. Must be proficient in ADP Vantage. Must have working knowledge of core payroll concepts: earnings, deductions, taxation, garnishments, and benefits. Must have strong Excel skills. Must be proficient with Vlookups. Must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow-up and resolve outstanding issues. Must be detail-oriented and possess solid organizational and analytical skills; and meet schedules and deadlines. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team. The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience.
