• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment. • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions. • Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs). • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner. • Act as a team member to support site work which could include supervising field work onsite focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 1-4+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.
- 1-4+ years of Renewable energy experience is preferred.
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
- Electrical certifications are preferred such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements is required.
