Role Description Technical Account Management (TAM) is responsible for playing a key/critical role in realizing business value through the application of project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives. The TAM will also use their rich healthcare domain expertise, along with project management and proactive consulting skills, to solve complex technical challenges for some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country. To our clients, this individual will be an expert in combining our technology platform and solutions with their programs to provide maximum benefit to their business and patients. Responsibilities - Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry, including key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation. - Demonstrates knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes. - Monitors performance and recommends scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments. - Connects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case. - Prioritizes multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. - Communicates project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion. - Effectively balances competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success. - Connects project objectives to broader organizational goals. - Provides input to contracts, reviews contracts to ensure completeness of scope and appropriate accountability based on role and/or responsibility. - Negotiates with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution. - Partners with stakeholders and technologists to implement/automate/operationalize models into day-to-day business decision making. - High level of client contact in an Account Management portfolio approach. Expectations - Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects. - Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals. - Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models. - Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope. - Projects may have significant and long-term impact. - Provides solutions which may set precedent. - Independently determines method for completion of new projects. - Receives guidance on overall project objectives. - Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues. - Identifies and qualifies opportunities within service portfolio with existing clients and develops plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships. Accountabilities - Analyze and recommend technical solutions related to new product launches, product discontinuations, vendor integrations, and operational efficiencies among other potential services. - Acts as single technical liaison for the client. - Daily interactions with client to assess and advise client needs and requests. - Analyze client program, needs and propose solutions and options that provide value to client. - Recommend technical changes/updates/enhancements to current platform and vendor integration landscape to further align with client’s strategy and industry advancements. - Manage client deliverables, timelines, and artifacts. - Monitor team backlog and prioritize activities to deliver on time, on budget, on scope. - Anticipate client needs and proactively make program recommendations to enhance service value. - Perform necessary project administration, project status, and risk, issue management. Qualifications - Master’s Degree preferred. - 3-5 years' experience of client relationship management experience at the account management level preferred. - Prior experience working in a Specialty Pharmaceutical HUB environment preferred. - 8+ years’ experience in professional services, healthcare, or related field preferred serving in a technical capacity preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred. - Strong oral and written communication skills, with executive facing presentation experience. - Strong project management skills. - Proven ability to learn an application of advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects. - Travel requirement up to 10%. Training and Work Schedules - Your new hire training will take place 8:00am-5:00pm CST, mandatory attendance is required. - This position is full-time (40 hours/week). - Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm CST. Remote Details - You will work remotely, full-time. It will require a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction-free environment with access to high-speed internet. - We will provide you with the computer, technology, and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. - You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet. - Internet requirements include the following: - Maintain a secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) at the remote location. Dial-up, satellite, WIFI, Cellular connections are NOT acceptable. - Download speed of 15Mbps (megabyte per second). - Upload speed of 5Mbps (megabyte per second). - Ping Rate Maximum of 30ms (milliseconds). - Hardwired to the router. - Surge protector with Network Line Protection for CAH issued equipment.
