Role Description Navaide is entering a defining phase in its evolution. The Sr. Director of Technology will play a central role in that transition, shaping and leading the development of a modern technology organization. You will be responsible for establishing and executing Navaide's technology vision, ensuring that the company's capabilities evolve in step with its ambitions. At its core, this role is about building: - Building a technology organization - Building products and platforms - Building the systems, standards, and culture required to operate like a true technology company while remaining grounded in mission delivery You will operate at the intersection of engineering, product, AI, and client delivery, partnering closely with executive leadership to shape where the company invests, how it differentiates, and how it scales. What You Will Own You will define the trajectory of technology at Navaide. Specifically, you will: - Establish a clear and actionable technology strategy, moving the company from primarily project-based delivery toward reusable platforms and scalable products, including how emerging AI and data capabilities are integrated. - Lead the development of Navaide's product and platform portfolio, turning early-stage concepts into production-ready solutions that deliver measurable value. - Build the engineering organization required to support this vision, attracting top-tier talent and establishing modern engineering practices. - Guide how Navaide designs and deploys intelligent solutions, ensuring alignment with evolving DoD expectations around responsible and secure AI. - Serve as the senior authority on architecture and technical direction, ensuring that solutions across the company are cohesive and aligned to long-term objectives. - Act as a visible technology leader supporting key pursuits, engaging with clients, and positioning Navaide as a credible technology partner. Qualifications - 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity. - Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML systems, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring in production environments. - Strong DevOps and platform engineering foundation: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible). - Experience operating in or supporting federal/DoD environments, including familiarity with IL2/IL4/IL5/IL6 cloud environments, ATO processes, and security-first engineering practices. - Proven track record of creating and scaling engineering organizations and delivering real software products or platforms. - Technically grounded, with a strong understanding of modern architectures, cloud environments, data systems, and emerging AI capabilities. - Equally capable of setting long-term strategic direction and engaging deeply in the details of how things are built. - Comfortable navigating the complexity of federal or defense environments, operating within constraints while driving outcomes that matter. - Energized by building something that does not yet fully exist, and motivated by the opportunity to shape the future of a growing company. - Must be government clearance eligible. What Success Looks Like Success in this role will be measured not just by what is built, but by what changes: - Navaide will have a clearly defined and functioning engineering organization, with the standards, talent, and culture expected of a modern technology company. - Early product investments will have matured into deployed, scalable solutions. - AI capabilities will be meaningfully integrated into both internal offerings and client-facing work. - The company will have begun to shift from delivering primarily bespoke solutions to creating reusable platforms that compound value over time. Role Description The Regional Clinical Director acts as the primary clinical resource person to the communities in their assigned territory. This position provides information, instruction, and direction for the community leadership team and regional managers to support the best possible level of care to residents consistent with nursing standards, compliance with Sonida Senior Living guidelines, and all regulatory agencies. This position also provides accurate, timely advice and consultation on risk management issues, quality indicators, and regulatory matters. This is a remote position supporting the following states: SC, NC, MD, VA, MA, TN. - Works under the direction of the Corporate QA Committee and reports directly to the Quality & Clinical Director (QCD). - Reports any regulatory concerns, risk issues, non-compliance with Sonida Senior Living policies, and care concerns to the QCD timely. - Maintain a nursing license in their home state in good stead; any changes to the nursing license, including limitations or sanctions, must be reported timely to the QCD. - Review quality indicator data for assigned communities and use nursing judgment to identify trends, risk issues, and regulatory issues; develop action plans with the community based on findings. - Conduct final round interviews on Wellness Director candidates and provide feedback to the Executive Director and regional operations manager. - Conduct QA audits and work with CLTs to develop plans of correction and monitor progress. - Support Wellness Directors in their roles by mentoring new Wellness Directors, providing feedback, education, and direction as needed. - Assist with communities that are without a Wellness Director as needed, including identifying a Wellness Director from another community to assist. - Review incident reports for their communities to identify regulatory issues, non-compliance with Sonida Senior Living policies, or risk issues; work with legal team, community leadership, and regional operations to develop plans of corrections as needed. - Produce work product following the QA Committee guidelines; reports are to be submitted for review to the QCD prior to submission to the QA Committee. - Assist communities with all state regulatory compliance, including identifying lapses in compliance and self-reporting as required by state regulation. - Visit assigned communities to review, monitor, and audit the quality of nurse care provided to residents. - Implement standards of nursing practice, reviewing and revising as necessary to reflect changes in nursing practice and resident population. - Plan and schedule travel with the QCD and Regional Operations teams. - Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality. - Collaborate with Regional Operations Managers to provide quality services to their shared communities.
