Payroll Specialist

• Provide essential, high-precision support in delivering timely and accurate payroll across Moniepoint’s global markets. • Ensure that our international workforce is paid accurately and on time. • Be the guardian of payroll data integrity. • Serve as a key point of contact for employee queries. • Champion compliant financial reporting. • Prepare, validate, and record payroll inputs across all active platforms in India and UK. • Execute rigorous monthly cycles, including variance reviews, accuracy checks, and reconciliation of payroll feeders to the general ledger. • Audit and validate employee lifecycle changes (hires, terminations, promotions) between HRIS and payroll systems. • Maintain and adhere to SOX-compliant workflows. • Support the timely filing of PAYE, pensions, taxes, and other local statutory requirements across jurisdictions. • Assist in producing detailed schedules and documentation for audits.

Job Requirements

  • 4 or more years of dedicated payroll or HR operations experience in a professional environment.
  • Hands-on familiarity with global payroll platforms such as Payfit, Gusto, Monnify, Razorpay, or similar cloud-based tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced confidence working with spreadsheets, complex data sets, and financial numbers.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data trends.
  • Prior experience supporting multi-entity and multi-currency payroll environments.
  • A basic understanding of payroll requirements across India, UK.
  • Familiarity with maintaining internal controls (SOX) within a payroll operations context.

Role Description The Payroll Administrator 1 is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This entry level role performs routine payroll tasks, maintains employee pay records, and is a point of contact for payroll-related questions and audits. This role will be expected to work with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate timesheets and payroll records.
