• Test Planning & Execution: Decompose product requirements into comprehensive test cases, ensuring full coverage of business and technical needs. • Strategic Testing: Leverage a risk-based approach to determine the optimal balance between manual and automated testing, ensuring a strong focus on user experience, performance, and system reliability. • Debugging & Troubleshooting: Investigate issues by analyzing logs, debugging applications, and identifying root causes of failures. • Database Querying: Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and troubleshoot backend issues. • Automation & CI/CD Alignment: Make informed decisions on what, when, and how to automate, balancing efficiency with development speed. • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently. • Collaboration & Mentoring: Work within a Scrum team, sharing QA best practices and helping teammates improve testing strategies.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • QA Mindset: A keen eye for detail, a passion for delivering quality, and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to clearly articulate test findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience debugging applications, analyzing logs, and using developer tools to investigate issues.
  • Database Proficiency: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for testing and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Test Automation Experience: Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
  • Agile & CI/CD Familiarity: Understanding of Agile methodologies, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
