Power BI Developer (Contract) Location: Remote Duration: Contract 3-6 months, potential extension Start: ASAP Overview We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 7+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights through scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain interactive PowerBI Dashboards and reports Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel etc.) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business into technical solutions Required Qualifications: 7+ years in PowerBI Development Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling Advanced SQL skills Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users Preferred: Experience with Azure (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) Experience with ETL princesses and data transformations Familiarity with security roles and row-level security in Power BI Experience working in agile environments

YOUR MISSION: You are instrumental in providing operational and strategic analyses that will improve our roadside assistance platform.  You will gather business requirements and provide a variety of curated data sets, metrics and reports to identify areas of improvement and monitor performance of our partner programs.  You will build sustainable and scalable reports for our internal and external stakeholders. WHO YOU ARE: You have a bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a related quantitative field (STEM, economics, social sciences, humanities, finance, analytics or related field). You have 2+ years of experience in big data and analytics, including advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and substantial exposure to one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma Computing). You have worked in optimizing queries for performance and in cloud technologies such as AWS. You are data-driven and exceedingly practical mindset; directs analyses to generate insights to solve business problems. You have exposure to building program pricing models to meet the demands of RFPs. You have an understanding of hypothesis-driven research and the fundamentals of business and finance. Your insatiable curiosity helps you understand the key drivers behind trends and business problems within the roadside assistance industry (prior transportation or related industry experience preferred).  You have a learning mindset and always want to get under the hood in everything you do. You have a strong desire to learn the “ins and outs” of what makes the Urgently business model work. You are articulate and can comfortably present work and key findings to senior business leaders.  You can effectively communicate complex insights simply.  You have a positive outlook. You are self-aware and energetic, able to take constructive feedback, and have an open dialogue around optimal approaches to business problems. Preferred Skills: Prior experience with forecasting, data modeling, and ETL processes. Familiarity with machine learning and AI in the context of BI. Advanced degree in a relevant field. THE NITTY GRITTY: Location = Great news!  This position is remote and you have the option of working from anywhere in the U.S.! Manager = You’ll report to Manager of Business Intelligence Compensation =  The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
