Sandvik

• Develops sales opportunities for Sandvik Mining product lines within the defined territory and/or assigned customer accounts. • Assesses customers’ total potential with SMR products. • Performs opportunity analysis by customer and site. • Acts as key contact for account and liaises with appropriate personnel to communicate. • Provides input to product factories to address product offering. • Develops a sales and service plan for designated territory/assigned customers. • Maintains accurate customer records as prescribed by the Company. • Assists as required in any physical inventory counts (especially any consignment stocks).

Job Requirements

  • Degree (or two-year college diploma) in Business or Marketing or Technical Diploma within Engineering, etc. or equivalent demonstrated technical knowledge/expertise.
  • Bilingualism in French and English considered an asset (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team.
  • Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of customer business processes and dealer management support services.
  • Excellent customer relations and active listening skills.
  • Highly developed time management and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize customer application processes in order to advise on equipment needs.
  • Computer Literacy using computerized inventory and sales systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Role Description Our Sales team supports our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs, and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems to meet the goals of the patients in their communities. The Rare Disease Account Specialist serves as a key point of contact to customer accounts for our Company’s Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) business. This role will be critical in establishing our presence in PAH and our commitment to supporting the efforts of PAH healthcare providers in improving patient health outcomes. This role will generate demand for our Company’s products, build and maintain a strong rapport with providers and office staff, engage and support account executives who help secure formulary access, and design account strategies to meet local customer needs. Territory Assignment: This is a field-based sales role responsible for covering the Long Island, NY territory. Requirements - Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry. - Keen interpersonal skills, including abilities to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and to influence senior levels of management, key thought leaders, and customers. - Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to understand, distill, and convey complex scientific and public health-related concepts to diverse audiences. - Strong prioritization skills and ability contextualize decisions into broader corporate strategies. - Technologically proficient (e.g., MS Office Suite, iPad).
