Remediation Project Manager
Shell
• Safely managing environmental liabilities • Delivering SGWS site assessment, remediation and monitoring projects • Drive a Health Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) performance culture • Manage a high volume portfolio of projects across multiple western Canadian provinces • Develop risk management strategies for reducing soil and groundwater liability • Lead and implement country wide HSSE initiatives and campaigns • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders • Manage financial approvals and spend with environmental consultants
Job Requirements
- Engineering/Science Degree, preferably in geology/hydrogeology/engineering discipline
- 6 or more years of experience in environmental project management, site assessment, remediation, and risk and liability management
- Experience working across multiple western Canadian regulatory jurisdictions
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis
- A professional designation in your discipline would be an asset
- Experience with HSSE leadership, understanding of HSSE risks and mitigations (processes, procedures, behaviors)
- Proven record of contract management experience, managing/improving contractor performance on complex projects
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and build internal and external relationships
