Role Description The Lead Trauma Data Specialist is responsible for the integrity of data: collection, analysis, entry, completion, and validation of all patient meeting inclusion criteria into the hospital trauma registry on a daily basis. The Lead Trauma Data Specialist will also ensure delivery of Trauma Center Data to the American College of Surgeons (NTDB/TQIP), the State of Montana, and internal at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in order to maintain trauma center designation. - Establish processes for data concurrency and data validation to ensure databases are current and accurate. - Monitor the registry database by performing edit checks, inter-rater reliability auditing, and re-abstracting. Qualifications - 2 years Registry data entry experience. - 2 years ICD and AIS coding. Requirements - 1 year Nursing or exposure to EMS (preferred). • Execute registration builds from intake tickets, overseeing full program registration cycle from beginning to end, while meeting deadlines. • Liaison between FO and FSS for registration builds and revisions. • Manages the event registration process in MyOH to include data entry and status monitoring. • Builds and maintains registration in Monday.com and Formstack forms throughout program cycles. • Maintains all program registration event boards ensuring updates are processed timely ensuring real-time event information is available. • Submit social media tickets as appropriate for new event openings or updates. • Create timelines for FO events and work collaboratively to finalize/assign due outs on Monday.com. • Manages fill rate reports, delivering weekly insights to key stakeholders. • Spearheads development of key event and registration resources – Event Information Submission Guides, Registration Request Policy, and Registration Review Guide while overseeing the maintenance of FSS Data Entry SOPs. • Support Family Support Services team with data entry and administrative updates and duties, including but not limited to surveys, outreach, research, reports, testing, calendar updates, and various trackers. • Assist FSS team in delivering program objectives correctly and on time. • Optimize registration efficiency by identifying technical issues and working with IT to implement improved solutions. • Performs other duties as assigned.
