• Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure scope and requirements are properly defined and translated into technical designs • Design and build scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security • Develop and maintain: Apex (classes, triggers, async patterns such as Queueable/Future/Batch, integrations, error handling) • Lightning Web Components (LWC) (component architecture, client/server patterns, performance best practices) • Platform Events and event-driven patterns (publish/subscribe, orchestration, resiliency, monitoring) • Partner with QA, Product Owners, and Designers to deliver well-tested, user-friendly experiences (including Experience Cloud journeys) • Implement robust automated testing and quality practices: Apex unit tests and test data patterns • Meaningful coverage that validates business behavior, not just lines • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and iterative delivery; actively engage in regular code reviews • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across production and sandbox environments; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative fixes • Build and maintain reports and dashboards as needed to support operational visibility and outcomes • Champion best practices, coding standards, documentation, and reusable patterns across the team • Readily share knowledge across the team; mentor others on platform development patterns and maintain a high bar for engineering excellence • Must be data driven, objective, and goal oriented
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building on the Salesforce Platform in a developer capacity
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex (classes, triggers, governor limits, async processing, integrations)
- Strong hands-on experience with LWC (component patterns, Apex integration, state management basics, performance considerations)
- Experience implementing event-driven solutions using Platform Events (and/or comparable pub/sub patterns on Salesforce)
- Experience working in an Agile environment following SDLC
- Experience using GitHub as a version control system and participating in code reviews
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
- Ability to collaborate across stacks and blended teams; communicates clearly and effectively
- Strong sense of ownership; self-driven with ability to work with minimal supervision

A day in the life (Responsibilities) - Platform Craftsmanship: Spend the majority of your time developing on the Salesforce platform, specializing in Apex (Triggers, Async, Frameworks), LWC/Aura, and complex Flows. - Architecture & Security: Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce security (Sharing/Visibility), Data Modeling, and design patterns. - Integrations: Build and maintain high-performing Web Services (REST/SOAP) utilizing modern authentication and authorization patterns. - Code Quality & DevOps: Own the end-to-end lifecycle by performing rigorous code reviews, managing GitHub PRs, and navigating CI/CD deployment processes (including merge conflict resolution). - Mentorship: Guide and support fellow team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth. - Agile Execution: Actively participate in the SCRUM process—providing accurate story sizing, meeting deadlines, and escalating blockers proactively. - Troubleshooting: Expertly leverage the Developer Console, Workbench, and Debug Logs to analyze performance issues and squash bugs. What you'll need to thrive (Requirements) - Enterprise Experience: Proven track record of Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning, VF) in a large-scale enterprise environment. - Platform Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Sales Cloud (Service and Experience Cloud are a plus). - CPQ Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation, including Product Rules, Pricing Rules, Lookup Queries, and Quote Templates. - DevOps Mindset: Strong understanding of the SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control (GitHub). - Education: A degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field. - Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II are required. Sales Engineer - Service Solutions Location: US (Remote) Full-time Permanent employee Job Description: Who is DESOTEC? We are a team of approximately 450 employees, united as "Generation D," all dedicated to fostering positive ecological change across all industries. Since 2026, DESOTEC has been part of EQT, an international Swedish investment group. Your tasks & responsibilities? Position Overview The Services Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an assigned territory by selling Desotec’s carbon services including bulk/loose carbon sales, slurry, and vacuum and re-bed services. This role combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen, focusing on identifying customer needs, communicating Desotec’s differentiating services and reactivation capabilities, and closing opportunities that deliver value for the customer and meet Desotec’s business objectives. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree (or equivalent technical experience) and a minimum of 5 years of experience selling aftermarket or service solutions. This is a remote position requiring regular customer travel within the assigned territory. Typical territory revenue responsibility $1 to $3 MM (not confined to this range). Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed territory revenue targets. - Soley focused on delivering sales growth for servicing of the installed base of activated carbon filters predominantly with new customers and/or new applications. - Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, environmental, and manufacturing sectors. - Serve as the technical expert on Desotec’s reactivation and service capabilities. - Conduct on-site customer visits, system assessments, and technical presentations. - Work closely with engineering, operations, and service operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. - Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and closing. - Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting. - Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies relevant to activated carbon and spent carbon services. - Represent Desotec at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as required. Who are you? Required Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required. - Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience selling either water/wastewater processing, hydrocarbon processing, or air/gas processing, or emissions control. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment and manage territory travel. - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally (up to 50–70% depending on territory). Preferred Qualifications - Engineering or Chemistry degree/background is preferred - Experience with activated carbon, industrial filtration, environmental remediation, emissions treatment, or related technologies. - Prior work supporting environmental, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial clients. - Experience selling aftermarket or service solutions into industrial markets. - Working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions to assist in contract negotiations.
