Job Description
Intake Specialist, Virtual
Sailor Health
• Guide older adults and their caregivers through the intake process with warmth, clarity, and professionalism, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. • Help each new patient navigate the journey into care, from matching with the right therapist to feeling confident and understood every step of the way. • Provide a unique blend of patient support, care coordination, and emotional guidance.
Job Requirements
- Empathetic and clear communicator. You speak with kindness, listen actively, and make others feel at ease – even during difficult or emotional conversations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented. You can juggle multiple patients at different stages in the process and never let things slip through the cracks.
- Tech-comfortable. You’re comfortable learning tools like Google Workspace, EHR platforms (e.g., Healthie), or CRMs like HubSpot, and pick up new software quickly.
- Mission-aligned. You care deeply about improving care for older adults and are excited to play a key role in someone’s first step toward better mental health.
- Experience welcome, not required. You may have worked in healthcare, customer service, or an administrative support role before – but most importantly, you’re organized, compassionate, and eager to grow.
Benefits
- Mission with impact. Help bring life-changing care to a population that’s too often overlooked.
- Remote-first team. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while staying closely connected with a thoughtful, collaborative team rooted in purpose.
- Growth and ownership. Be part of a small, agile team where you’ll take initiative, shape key processes, and grow as we grow.
- Make someone’s day – every day. Your work helps older adults and their families feel seen, supported, and cared for.
