• Own the QA process, defining and continuously refining our quality strategy, workflows, test frameworks, and success metrics across the project. • Lead and maintain a high-performing internal QA organization, while establishing effective partnerships and accountability with external QA vendors. • Be the primary quality partner to the development teams, providing clear quality signals, risk assessments, and readiness input to inform scheduling, prioritization, and release decisions. • Establish and maintain QA standards, documentation, and reporting to ensure clarity and consistency. • Oversee vendor QA strategy and performance, including scope definition, quality expectations, and integration with internal QA efforts. • Own platform compliance and certification readiness across all target platforms, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.
Job Requirements
- Shipped at least two games in at least a Lead QA capacity and across console(s) and PC.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing QA teams, including mentoring senior ICs and establishing clear expectations and accountability.
- Prior experience with TRCs/TCRs.
- Experience developing test frameworks and plans from project goals and executing them.
- Unreal Engine experience required.
- (Bonus) Experience working with an outsource team.

About the Role: Service is looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team remotely. As a core delivery team member, you will be responsible for validating functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll leverage both a strong QA mindset and technical expertise to support our development teams in building reliable and scalable software solutions. What You'll Do: Test Planning & Execution: Decompose product requirements into comprehensive test cases, ensuring full coverage of business and technical needs. Strategic Testing: Leverage a risk-based approach to determine the optimal balance between manual and automated testing, ensuring a strong focus on user experience, performance, and system reliability. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Investigate issues by analyzing logs, debugging applications, and identifying root causes of failures. Database Querying: Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and troubleshoot backend issues. Automation & CI/CD Alignment: Make informed decisions on what, when, and how to automate, balancing efficiency with development speed.
