Role Description As a Software Engineer at GoodUnited, you will be a key player in developing and optimizing our cutting-edge software products. Your deep knowledge of React, NextJS, NodeJS, Postgres, Snowflake, and AWS will be vital in creating robust, scalable, and efficient applications that empower nonprofits in their digital engagement and fundraising efforts. - Develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using React, NextJS, NodeJS, Postgres, and Snowflake. - Collaborate in the implementation of applications within an AWS cloud environment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product managers, designers, and other engineers) to ideate, plan, and implement new features and enhancements. - Champion best coding practices, including code reviews, writing automated tests, and maintaining high-quality documentation. - Proactively identify and address technical debt and optimize application performance. • Help our customers unlock AI for their factories, turning fragmented industrial data into a Unified Namespace that powers real-time operations from edge to cloud • Build and evolve genuinely complex frontends, including the visual graph editing surface (xyflow + elkjs on top of Chakra) where customers model, discover, and govern their industrial data • Deal with the hard edges of real-time and distributed system behavior at scale: extending event sourcing, navigating on-premise to serverless deployment setups, handling gRPC observer reconnection, job status polling, gateway agent sessions, and more • Take ownership of features end to end, including UX and product decisions

• Partner closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to influence the product roadmap. • Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions for Unity AI and backend platforms, balancing short-term delivery with long-term product health. • Design and implement sustainable, scalable solutions for Unity AI products, pushing the boundaries of the Unity Editor with cutting-edge AI agent technologies. • Improve the reliability, performance, observability, security, and cost-efficiency of our backend systems, and support investigations into issues like performance regressions and network latency through strong observability and monitoring. • Run technical spikes with developers to address application infrastructure needs on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. • Build and mature the infrastructure and processes for promoting application code from development to production, writing high-quality, maintainable infrastructure-as-code and Helm deployments, and defining best practices for Terraform Cloud, Helm, and Kubernetes.

• Design, develop, test and maintain the software for the IOTA suite of tools; • Write, update and maintain the software documentation for the IOTA suite of tools; • Participate in the team meetings as required by the Lead Developer (LD), the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and the Project Manager (PM); • Update accordingly the development backlog system with progress and comments;
