Job Description

Sales Executive II – Leave Solutions

Alight Solutions

• Lead the entire RFP process from intake to final submission • Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers • Drive opportunity qualification, gather prospect pain points and insights • Own relationships with specialty leave brokers throughout the sales cycle • Partner with Strategic Account Executives and Enterprise Sales on positioning • Develop win strategies and craft narratives to differentiate Leave Solutions • Lead preparation and delivery of finalist meetings • Coordinate inputs across product, operations, implementation, legal, and account teams • Work closely with teams to build cohesive strategies and provide prospect insights • Partner with Legal and Sales Operations on contract terms and deal timing

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of sales experience in leave management
  • Proven success managing large, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence leading finalist meetings
  • Experience working with brokers, consulting houses, or channel partnerships
  • Understanding of leave regulations, disability management, FMLA/ADA, or HRIS/HCM ecosystem (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, sales methodologies, pipeline management best practices (preferred)

Essential Duties: Provide guidance and leadership in the development of account plans and strategies for winning new business & beating competition. Assist with the development and delivery of account initiatives to heighten awareness of our brand and product portfolio and solution set. Prospect, discover, qualify, propose and close new business opportunities. Through assigned accounts plans, identify and establish deep relationships with key decision makers and influencers who will participate in the acquisition decision-making process. Grow account and territory revenue by providing insights matching client need and pain points, recommending and proposing SMS solutions and guide the client thru a successful acquisition cycle.
