Account Executive, Mid Atlantic
COFENSE
• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals to continue our growth trajectory • Build and expand relationships with key decision-makers in information security across multiple industries • Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, technical presentations, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing • Leverage modern AI-driven tools and techniques to improve prospecting, account research, customer engagement, pipeline development, and deal execution • Utilize AI and data insights to prioritize opportunities, personalize outreach, improve productivity, and accelerate sales cycles • Represent Cofense at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences • Travel as required (approximately 30%) • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 4 Year Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred
- 5+ years successful experience in outside sales of information security services or products
- Proven expertise managing complex enterprise sales opportunities from prospect to close
- Ability to provide live and web-based demonstrations of the Cofense platform without Sales Engineer support (SE support available as needed)
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to forecast accurately and manage pipeline within Salesforce.com
- Experience leveraging modern AI-enabled sales tools and workflows for prospecting, pipeline generation, account prioritization, messaging, and deal strategy
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to apply insights and analytics to improve sales execution and conversion rates
- Established network and relationships within the information security industry
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority opportunities and tasks simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong accountability, ownership mindset, and bias for action
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization
