About the role We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Senior eCommerce Manager to lead and scale iL Tutto’s global DTC eCommerce business This role is responsible for the end to end performance of all eCommerce channels, including Shopify Plus, lifecycle marketing, email and SMS, SEO, and international expansion You will own the full digital customer journey, from acquisition through to retention, with a strong focus on revenue growth, conversion optimisation, and customer experience You will play a key role in building and maintaining international websites, including UK and future markets, while continuing to optimise the AU site Key responsibilities - Shopify Plus and eCommerce Platform Ownership - Own and manage the Shopify Plus ecosystem, including all integrations and apps - Oversee day to day site performance, uptime, speed, and functionality - Identify and implement platform enhancements to improve conversion rate and UX - Manage relationships with developers and external agencies - Ensure scalability across multiple markets and currencies International Expansion and Localisation - Lead the build, launch, and optimisation of international websites, starting with UK - Develop localisation strategies including currency, pricing and promotions, region specific merchandising, and local SEO strategies - Ensure consistency of brand experience across all markets - Identify and support expansion into additional regions eCommerce Strategy and Trading - Develop and execute a global eCommerce strategy aligned with revenue targets - Own the trading calendar, including promotions, campaigns, and product launches - Drive conversion rate optimisation through testing and continuous improvement - Partner with marketing to align paid media, content, and eCommerce performance Lifecycle Marketing, Email and SMS, Attentive - Flows, build and optimisation - Abandoned Cart - Abandoned Browse - Post Purchase - Cross sell and upsell journeys - Campaign Strategy - Own quarterly planning and campaign themes - Develop and execute campaigns aligned with trading priorities Segmentation and Data - Build and maintain advanced segmentation strategies - Manage list cleaning, suppression, and data hygiene - Testing and Optimisation - Lead A B testing across subject lines, content, timing, and offers Deliverability and Reporting - Monitor and optimise deliverability performance - Troubleshoot issues and ensure platform health - Report on lifecycle KPIs including revenue, engagement, and conversion List Growth - Develop and execute list growth strategies across website and campaigns - SMS Strategy - Build and execute a comprehensive SMS strategy integrated with email - Align messaging with key campaigns and product launches SEO and Organic Growth, Key Priority - Own and execute SEO strategy across all markets - Regularly analyse performance using SEMrush, GA4, and Google Search Console - Identify opportunities across keyword growth, content optimisation, and technical SEO - Work with content and development teams to implement improvements - Drive organic traffic growth across all sites Product and Merchandising - Oversee product catalogue management with the eCommerce Coordinator - Ensure accurate product data, optimised product descriptions, and SEO best practices - Implement merchandising strategies to improve conversion, AOV, and cross sell performance Analytics and Performance - Own reporting across all eCommerce channels and markets - Analyse performance using GA4 and Shopify analytics - Report on key metrics including revenue, conversion rate, and traffic performance - Provide insights and recommendations to drive growth Team Leadership - Manage and mentor the eCommerce Coordinator - Delegate day to day execution while maintaining strategic oversight - Foster a data driven, high performance culture About you - Proven experience in a Senior eCommerce role, ideally in DTC retail - Strong expertise in Shopify Plus and ecosystem management - Experience managing international eCommerce websites - Hands on experience with email and SMS platforms, Attentive preferred - Strong SEO knowledge with experience using SEMrush, GA4, and Search Console - Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and conversion optimisation - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Experience managing and developing team members - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ADDITIONAL BONUS - Experience in nursery, furniture, or lifestyle categories - Experience with pre order or launch strategies - Experience scaling international DTC brands Location: Australia (Brisbane or Melbourne preferred, but open to remote anywhere from Australia.
