Job Description

IT Project Manager

OpenLoop

• Manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through completion. • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. • Meet regularly with team members to keep them on track and remove roadblocks. • Establish and track measurable metrics for ongoing projects. • Report project progress, milestones, and risks to leadership. • Facilitate standups, retrospectives, and IT team updates. • Support directors and team leads in prioritizing initiatives and managing dependencies. • Promote accountability, transparency, and clear communication across the IT organization. • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT, engineering, or technical projects.
  • Proven track record of leading technology teams to successful project delivery.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Smartsheet).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that are delivered on time and drive measurable impact.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, support operations, and system lifecycles is preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Experience managing projects in healthcare, tech startups, M&A integrations, or regulated environments.
  • Background in vendor coordination or SaaS implementation projects is highly preferred.
