Software Verification Engineer

• Conduct verification of customer software using provided technical documentation • Achieve software builds across various programming languages • Identify, diagnose, and resolve build issues, ensuring software meets quality standards • Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to understand build processes and dependencies • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand requirements and provide updates • Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to software verification • Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification processes and practices • Assist in backend and frontend development tasks as required • Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
Job Requirements
- 3+ years development / DevOps experience
- 2+ years of experience with Linux, Windows and Mac environment fundamentals
- Basic understanding of popular backend languages (Python, Java, NodeJS and PHP)
- Prior experience or understanding of database- and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL)
- Prior experience or understanding of Git
- Basic knowledge of front-end languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript beneficial
- Basic knowledge of AWS technologies beneficial
- Basic knowledge of API configuration beneficial
- Experience with various build tools, like (but not specifically) msbuild, webpack, maven, and others of the type beneficial

Role Description We are seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and product development execution. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to shape both technical systems and product direction. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure infrastructure while leading development of our products. You will work cross-functionally with leadership, product, and design to translate vision into shipped features used by school districts, students, and families nationwide.
