Role Description We are seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and product development execution. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to shape both technical systems and product direction. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure infrastructure while leading development of our products. You will work cross-functionally with leadership, product, and design to translate vision into shipped features used by school districts, students, and families nationwide. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions • Administer and optimize Linux production environments (tuning, hardening, troubleshooting) • Develop scripts and automation tools for provisioning, deployment, and operations • Support database maintenance, performance tuning, and high availability, with a focus on NoSQL • Participate in end-to-end infrastructure projects — from architecture design to delivery • Collaborate with development, data, and product teams to define technical solutions • Contribute to observability practices (monitoring, logs, metrics) and continuous improvement • Document processes, runbooks, and architectures to strengthen the team’s technical knowledge base

Known resource within the technology industry. • Actively contribute to presales motions, including client meetings, SOW reviews, service scoping, and solution shaping. • Partner with sellers, SDMs, and PSMs to identify whitespace and drive follow-on service opportunities. • Serve as a visible technical leader within the practice, regularly promoting capabilities and availability across internal stakeholders.
