Account Manager, Direct Mail

• Leading teams to work with clients to create compelling and targeted direct mail marketing strategies that maximize grassroots fundraising; • Leading the development, implementation and production process for innovative direct mail fundraising campaigns; • Leading cross-functional teams to integrate direct mail campaigns with other fundraising channels such as email, SMS or others; • Creating and managing action-oriented reporting to drive strategic decision making; • Supporting the professional growth of colleagues via training and intentional mentorship; • Maintaining client satisfaction, including managing relationships and providing exceptional customer service; • Collaborating in a team to provide clients with strategic direct mail marketing planning, including revenue forecasting and budgeting to ensure account success; • Working with client teams to assist in managing resources and timelines on projects; • Supporting business development efforts and participating in new business pitches.
Job Requirements
- 5 or more years of in-house campaign, nonprofit or agency experience in direct mail communications, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofit or political organizations;
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to apply strategic direct marketing principles and being accountable for either the overall success of a program or a large component of a very large program;
- Client management experience;
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
- Excellent verbal, analytical, written, and presentation skills;
- Passion for making our world a better place.
