Role Description As Softchoice’s newest Scale Account Executive, you will be directly hunting into AWS’s account base and managing AWS opportunities navigating customers towards digital transformation. In this role you will be positioning Softchoice solutions that drive new customers’ use of AWS technologies, solutions and services. We're counting on you to seize this chance to smash quotas, conquer milestones and help us achieve our vision, as you pursue your own. What You’ll Do: - Win new customers: - Drive new customer acquisition by winning new AWS customers and securing services that support their growth within the cloud. - Prospect and cold call new contacts and accounts. - Drive and own opportunities from the point of assessing customer needs through closing deals. - Expertly manage your pipeline and customer relationships. - Work with AWS expert presales technical team members, driving the sales strategy with the customer while they support driving the technical solution. - Apply analytical and strategic thinking, finding unique approaches to hitting your plan and upholding excellent business acumen. - Supporting AWS partnership: - Nurture strategic relationships with AWS by acting as an extension of AWS’ own sales team. - Keep updated on AWS product and services, industry knowledge and attend product and services training as required. - Support the AWS demand generation strategy and AWS sales activations campaigns. - Ongoing personal development through certificates, training, and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve. - Taking care of your fellow internal and external team members and showing true leadership when challenges arise. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in selling technology solutions in a pure sales or pre-sales role. - Ideally, experience working with Mid-Market Accounts. - Proven tenacity as a salesperson, pursuing net new clients, developing business, and networking with passion. - Cold calling experience with proven success winning new customers. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Excellent customer-facing presentation skills. - Strong analytical skills and solving complex customers’ problems through analysis. - Experience proactively managing relationships at all organizational levels and mobilizing stakeholders to execute and meet key deliverables. - A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment. - High School Diploma or equivalent. Requirements - A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $78,500 - $93,000 annually + 40% as target incentives. - Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. - The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
