Role Description Matchspace Music is a Swiss scale-up helping music teachers grow and manage their teaching business. We are building from the ground up and need one engineer to own its entire technical foundation from day zero. The stack is TypeScript / Next.js / React / Supabase / Postgres / Stripe. The team is deliberately small. You will ship production-quality software using agentic AI coding tools and close collaboration with CPO and QA engineer. What You Will Own - Architecture and engineering execution from day zero on a greenfield TypeScript / Next.js / Supabase build. - Agentic AI tooling as your primary development method: you set the guardrails, review all output with the same rigour as hand-written code, and are fully accountable for everything that ships. - Postgres data model design, authentication, multi-tenant isolation, and row-level security. - Stripe integration: Connect, Billing, Checkout, and webhook handling. - Public marketplace and teacher-facing product features. - Tight collaboration with the QA Engineer on test-driven workflows and Playwright coverage. - Clear communication of technical trade-offs to product and business stakeholders. How We Work - Product Lead / CPO — owns scope, acceptance criteria, product planning, scrum and product trade-offs. - QA Engineer — owns risk-based test plans, Playwright coverage, and agentic test-driven design. - Full Stack Engineer (you) — owns architecture, implementation, all technical decisions, and rigorous, accountable use of agentic development. Qualifications - Strong TypeScript, React, and Next.js production experience — you have built and shipped real applications. - Solid relational database design skills (Postgres). - Experience with multi-tenant data isolation, authentication, and security-sensitive patterns. - Practical experience integrating payment systems (Stripe or equivalent complexity). - Able to operate as the sole engineer in a small startup: own architecture, make decisions, keep scope tight, and ship. - Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated, daily use of agentic AI coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Warp, or equivalent). - Genuinely progressive AI mindset. Requirements - Strong Plus: Supabase (Auth, Storage, Row-Level Security). - Stripe Connect: marketplace flows, seller payouts, webhook idempotency. - NestJS for structured backend services as complexity grows. - Algolia: search indexing, geospatial search, or local marketplace discovery. - Sentry: error monitoring, alerting, and production observability. - Mapbox or Google Maps: geocoding, location search, and map-based features. - Durable background job tooling (Trigger, Inngest, pg-boss, BullMQ, or similar). - SEO-sensitive public pages with Next.js App Router. - Experience in edtech, marketplaces, creator tools, bookings, or SaaS commerce. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and Salesforce architects to design, develop, test and deploy solutions based on industry best practices and client business requirements. • Convert UI/UX wireframes into Salesforce applications. • Develop front-end Lightning Web Components (LWC) for intuitive and responsive layouts. • Implement solutions using best practices to prevent recurrence of performance issues. • Document best practices and operational procedures. • Work collaboratively with your project team from the design phase to go live on projects to build solutions, resolve technical issues, and implement scalable solutions for clients. • Research and keep current on technology and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective. • Take full, end-to-end ownership of technical solutions.

• Build and maintain frontend experiences for enterprise-level clients using Next.js, React, and modern CSS (Sass, Tailwind) • Design and integrate headless CMS setups — primarily Craft CMS — structuring content types and connecting them cleanly to the frontend via GraphQL • Work across multiple simultaneous projects, coordinating with PMs, designers, and the Tech Lead • Contribute light backend work on a PHP-based stack when needed • Ship production code that real users interact with — for brands like Google, Nike, ESPN, and others

Role Description This position works under minimal supervision to develop and conduct individual or group presentations on coding, billing and compliance topics, based on new regulatory and professional coding industry information; pre-bill professional charge review findings; University-identified risk areas, or special projects requested by MSRDP leadership. Revenue Cycle Management Support: - Research coding, documentation and reimbursement inquiries submitted by physicians, clinical departments, or revenue cycle management to ensure compliance with specific payer and/or government regulations and optimum reimbursement. - Prepare timely responses based on research outcomes. - Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure coding and billing practices are accurate, compliant with regulations, and aligned with university policies and Revenue Cycle Management guidelines. - Review charges for any service line, ensure timely resolution, assist Supervisor with broader monitoring. - Monitor team queues regularly, ensure team-wide timely resolution, perform quality assurance reviews. New Provider Education: - Conduct standardized education for new providers (physicians, advanced practice providers, and other professional practitioners) for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, PM&R, Neurology, Psychiatry. - Perform pre-bill reviews of professional charges and follow up with new providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation practices. - Perform post-onboarding pre-bill review of professional charges and follow up with new providers to confirm understanding documentation requirements to promote billing compliance. - Independently conduct reviews, apply critical thinking, develop detailed action plans for risk mitigation. - Independently develop, update, and conduct onboarding and specialty-specific training. Clinical Department Education: - Develop and conduct individual or group physician education presentations on coding, billing compliance guidelines, audit findings or internal reporting. - Develop comprehensive content for presentations, including key concepts, regulations, case studies and practical examples. Billing Compliance Reviews: - Conduct independent reviews on adequacy of medical record documentation to support the procedure, modifier and diagnosis coding of any service line billed by any supported physicians, practitioners or billing staff, or areas that may pose a compliance risk. - Develop recommended solutions/action plans, which may include revised workflows and/or education. - Serve as a professional billing integrity project leader, for all service lines, under minimal supervision. - Lead projects independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 6 years of experience in a professional billing environment with emphasis on coding, auditing and/or compliance responsibilities. - (CPC) CERT PROFESSIONAL CODER Upon Hire or (CCS) CERT CODING SPECIALIST Upon Hire or (CMC) CERT MEDICAL CODER Upon Hire or (CPMA) Cert Prof Medical Auditor within 1 Year.
