Director, Product Pricing Strategy

Sphera

• Design and implement pricing strategies for new and existing products, including packaging, tiering, and discount structures • Align pricing with customer value, competitive positioning, and market dynamics • Driving the monetization of AI and future of pricing • Identify and drive opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and customer lifetime value • Lead pricing experiments (A/B testing, elasticity analysis) to optimize outcomes • Conduct ongoing research on market trends, competitor pricing, and customer willingness to pay • Translate insights into actionable pricing recommendations • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams • Enable go-to-market teams with pricing tools, guidance, and training • Establish pricing governance, approval processes, and discount policies • Ensure consistent pricing execution across channels and regions • Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor pricing performance and business impact • Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product management, strategy consulting, or related fields
  • Proven track record of developing and executing pricing strategies in a B2B and/or SaaS environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing tools
  • Deep understanding of value-based pricing, segmentation, and monetization models
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Role Description The Pricing Specialist is responsible for data mining and clean-up, cost and pricing projects, and providing analytics support.
