Platform Engineer – IDP
InPost Group
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve our Internal Developer Platform to streamline development and deployment. • Design and enhance platform components to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and ease of use. • Provision, monitor, and maintain infrastructure across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Automate infrastructure provisioning, testing, deployment, and configuration through CI/CD and scripting. • Collaborate with software engineers, operations, security, and platform teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions. • Implement and maintain security best practices, including access management, encryption, and compliance. • Ensure monitoring and observability, providing teams with logs, metrics, and troubleshooting tools. • Create and maintain clear documentation for platform tools, processes, and standards. • Support incident resolution related to platform functionality. • Continuously explore new technologies and improvements to reduce technical debt and enhance the developer experience.
Job Requirements
- Experience or strong familiarity with building and maintaining Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
- Min. 2 years of DevOps background (automation, CI/CD, reliability, tooling).
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (preferably GCP).
- Experience with containerization ( Docker ) and orchestration ( Kubernetes ).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code ( Terraform , Ansible ).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation .
- Programming skills in at least one language (Python, Go, Java, C++, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript).
- Good knowledge of networking and Linux administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- English proficiency at min. B2 level.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity, accelerate development, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.

What will the Senior AWS Platform Engineer at CertiPath Do?
