They will play a critical role in building a sustainable, strategic revenue engine while strengthening the relationships that define our success. Most importantly, they will help us grow boldly and intentionally into the future of our business. RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of the Sales Leader include, but are not limited to: Revenue Growth & Strategy - Own and drive the overall revenue strategy, scaling the business from ~$9M to $28M - Lead new business development activities - Identify opportunities to diversify and expand Xavier Creative House’s client portfolio Sales Leadership & Execution - Lead the full sales cycle, from opportunity creation through close - Own key client interactions including pitches, presentations, negotiations, and deal strategy - Ensure a consistent, high-quality pipeline that converts into revenue Client & Relationship Development - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across target accounts - Partner with Client Services to identify opportunities for growth within existing clients through expansion and relationship development - Represent the company at events, conferences, and in the broader market Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead and develop the sales function, including a Business Development Representative and Marketing Manager - Partner closely with Marketing, Creative, and Client Services to align efforts and drive revenue - Serve as a unifying force across teams in support of growth Process, Systems & Performance Management - Own and improve the sales process, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting - Ensure strong use of CRM (HubSpot) and accountability to revenue metrics - Create scalable processes that support long-term growth Innovation & Market Awareness - Leverage AI, technology, and data to enhance sales effectiveness - Stay current on industry trends and identify new ways to position and differentiate the company ** This is a full-time, remote position with some national travel. ** QUALIFICATIONS Required - Proven sales experience within the life sciences industry (pharma, biotech, or med device) - Minimum of 5+ years of sales leadership experience, with direct accountability for team performance and results - Demonstrated ownership of revenue targets, forecasting, and growth strategy (P&L or equivalent responsibility) - Track record of success in both net new business development and growing existing client relationships - Strong executive presence, with the ability to lead presentations, pitches, and high-level client conversations - High level of technical fluency, including regular use of AI tools and a proactive approach to learning emerging technologies - Bachelor’s degree required Preferred - Experience selling marketing or agency services, ideally within a healthcare or life sciences environment - Background in building or scaling a revenue engine, including pipeline development and conversion strategy - Existing network or relationships within the life sciences sector - Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar operating frameworks Desired - Experience with HubSpot and sales performance tracking tools - Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, or similar productivity and AI-enabled platforms - Exposure to project management or workflow tools such as Workamajig THE COMPANY – XAVIER CREATIVE HOUSE Xavier Creative House is a bold, independent healthcare marketing agency partnering with leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and med device organizations.
