Role Description We are looking for paid participants to record videos of everyday activities while wearing a head-mounted camera. Your recordings will help robotics systems learn to perceive, understand, and interact with real-world environments. - You’ll record yourself doing tasks you already do in daily life, such as: - Folding laundry - Preparing or cooking food - Cleaning, tidying, or organizing items - Rearranging or sorting objects - Participants may or may not be assigned specific tasks, depending on project needs. - If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable performing everyday tasks, and want to earn additional income while contributing to cutting-edge robotics research, we’d love to work with you! Qualifications - Own a smartphone with a wide camera (0.5x zoom) capable of 1080p/30 FPS - Have access to a computer or laptop and a stable internet connection to upload videos to Google Drive - Able to follow detailed instructions carefully - Comfortable performing light physical tasks (standing, reaching, grasping objects) - Able to move naturally, slowly, and deliberately during recordings - Knowledgeable in uploading, organizing, and managing video files on Google Drive Requirements - Weekly footage goal: Capture at least 10 hours of clear, intentional arm, hand, and finger movements interacting with objects (e.g., folding clothes, using a screwdriver). - Avoid low-value activities such as typing, using your phone, or sitting idle. - Upload videos to Google Drive on time, perform basic quality checks, and track your daily filming progress. - Meet the required filming hours. - Follow all submission guidelines. - Open communication if you encounter challenges. Benefits - Compensation: - $2 USD/hour for the first 10 hours (initial period) - $3 USD/hour for all subsequent approved footage that meets quality standards - Bonuses: - $10 USD headgear reimbursement upon completion of the first 10 hours (regardless of approval) - $10 USD one-time bonus upon completion of the next 10 hours of approved footage - $20 USD one-time bonus upon reaching 50 hours of approved footage within the first month - Payment Terms: - Compensation is based solely on approved and qualified footage. - Payments are processed via Deel on a monthly basis and released at the end of each month. - Footage must be submitted and approved within the applicable payout cycle to be included in that month’s payment. - Participants whose start date falls on or after the second week of the month will receive their first payment in the subsequent month’s payout cycle.
